Window cleaning is a meticulous job. Please note the following:

- We also clean window frames, door frames, blinds and window sills, meaning much more than just glass surfaces.
- The mechanisms are lubricated so that opening continues to be successful.
- We also wash balcony glass upon request.
- Window keys are usually lost in homes, but you can stop searching because we have a variety of keys with us.
- Weather warning: unfortunately, windows cannot be washed in temperatures below 5 Celsius and strong winds can make opening windows dangerous.
- Windows must be able to be opened safely so that they can be washed between them.
- We use separate window supports if necessary.
- Washable opening windows must generally be less than three meters high.
- The use of high ladders is not in accordance with occupational safety regulations, but:
- We wash windows along the extension arm up to a height of approximately 5 - 6 m. For example, the windows on the upper floor of a frontline building that open outwards can often be washed from the ground.
- If the windows are at a height that requires a separate personal lifting device, please inform us of this when ordering, as a separate personal lifting device will significantly increase the costs.
- Please note that top-hung windows, especially very large windows from the 60s and 70s, are generally not safe to clean, as it is unfortunately not safe to go under an old, top-hinged window with possibly decayed frames. The safety of our employees is our number one priority.

How much does window cleaning cost?
Isojoo window cleaning costs €58.80 per person-hour, plus a €12.80 service fee per visit. Travel, cleaning products and equipment are included. After the Finnish household tax credit, the labour price is €38.22 per person-hour. On Saturdays, €4.00 per person-hour is added to the hourly rate, and we invoice according to the actual working time.
How many windows can be cleaned in one hour?
A professional usually cleans about 2–3 standard-sized windows per person-hour. The time required depends on window size, the number of opening glass surfaces, blinds, condition, height and whether the windows are difficult to open.
How often should windows be cleaned?
For most homes, window cleaning is recommended twice a year: in spring after winter and street dust, and again in autumn or before Christmas. Homes near busy roads or the sea, or during a heavy pollen season, may need cleaning more often.
Are cleaning products, equipment and travel included in the price?
Yes. We bring the required window-cleaning products and equipment, and both they and travel are included in the price. We do not charge a separate travel fee within our service area.
What is included in window cleaning?
Window cleaning includes the agreed glass surfaces, frames, sashes and window sills. We also clean blinds and lubricate window mechanisms. Balcony-glass cleaning can be added separately; tell us the number and height of the panes when booking.
Can windows be cleaned in any weather?
Not in all conditions. We generally do not clean windows below +5 °C, and strong winds can make opening windows unsafe. If the weather could affect safety or the result, we will arrange a new time with you.
Can I book other cleaning services with window cleaning?
Yes. You can combine window cleaning with home cleaning or move-out cleaning. Mention the additional service when booking so we can reserve enough time for the visit.
Can I claim the Finnish household tax credit for window cleaning in 2026?
Yes. In 2026, the Finnish household tax credit is 35% of the eligible labour cost, up to €1,600 per person per year, with an annual deductible of €150. The Finnish Tax Administration's eligibility conditions must be met.
Do you clean high windows?
Yes, when the work can be carried out safely. We normally clean opening windows up to about three metres and can use an extension pole at heights of about 5–6 metres. Difficult locations may require a personnel lift, so tell us about high windows and the working conditions when booking.
