VAT-exempt senior services
IsoJoo! is supervised by the Regional State Administrative Agency and registered with SOTERI, so we can, under certain conditions, offer services to seniors and other special groups without VAT. A medical certificate is not required. Often, advanced age or some other limitation that prevents full independence is a good justification.
Although VAT is not charged, you can also claim a household deduction on the remaining amount. When both benefits are used, the cost for seniors is only €25.27 per person-hour. For VAT exemption, we will do a small survey of the situation and needs.
The service can be ordered not only by seniors themselves, but also by children and grandchildren for their parents, allowing the children to take advantage of the benefit in their own taxation. The benefit is very significant and regular plavlumme can be a great relief and security for living at home.

How much does Isojoo home cleaning cost?
Isojoo home cleaning costs €49.80 per person-hour. A service fee of €12.80 is charged per visit, and cleaning equipment and products are included. After the Finnish household tax credit, the labour price starts at €32.37 per person-hour when the eligibility conditions are met.
How long does home cleaning take?
The estimate is stated in person-hours: a 40 m² home usually requires 3–3.5 hours, a 60 m² home 3.5–4 hours, an 80 m² home 4.5–5 hours and a 100 m² home 5.5–6 hours. With a two-cleaner team, the time spent in your home is usually about half the number of person-hours. The actual time depends on the home's condition, the agreed scope and your wishes.
Can I claim the Finnish household tax credit for home cleaning in 2026?
Yes. In 2026, the Finnish household tax credit is 35% of the eligible labour cost, up to €1,600 per person per year, with an annual deductible of €150. The Finnish Tax Administration's eligibility conditions must be met.
Does regular home cleaning require a fixed-term contract?
No. Isojoo's regular home cleaning does not require a fixed-term contract. You can change the cleaning schedule, take a break or end the service as your circumstances change.
Will the same cleaner visit my home each time?
Our aim is to send the same familiar cleaner or cleaning team whenever possible. A familiar cleaner gets to know your home and preferences, making the service easier and helping to maintain consistent quality.
How often should regular home cleaning be scheduled?
Every other week suits most homes. Weekly cleaning is often a good choice for families with children or pets, while a longer interval may suit lighter cleaning needs. The right frequency depends on the size of the home, its residents and your preferences.
What does home cleaning include?
Home cleaning covers routine cleaning of the kitchen, bathroom, toilet and other living areas within the agreed time. It typically includes wiping surfaces, vacuuming, damp-mopping floors and cleaning sanitary areas. Separately ordered extras, such as window cleaning or a thorough oven cleaning, are agreed in advance.
Can I change the cleaning frequency later?
Yes. You can change from weekly cleaning to every other week, take a break or arrange visits as needed. Please agree on changes with Isojoo in advance.
Can I start with a one-time cleaning?
Yes. You can first book a one-time home cleaning and then decide whether you want to continue with regular visits. A one-time cleaning does not commit you to further bookings.
Can my home be cleaned while I am away?
Yes. Home cleaning can be carried out while you are away when access is agreed in advance using a key or door code. Safe handling of keys and access details is agreed before the first visit.
Does Isojoo have liability insurance and belong to the prepayment register?
Yes. Isojoo Oy has liability insurance and is registered in Finland's prepayment register. The company's Business ID is 1728456-4.
Does Isojoo home cleaning have a quality guarantee?
Yes. Isojoo home cleaning comes with a 100% quality guarantee. If you have concerns about the result, contact us as soon as possible and we will correct the issue as agreed.
Are cleaning equipment and products included in the price?
Yes. Isojoo brings the cleaning equipment and products needed for home cleaning, and they are included in the price. If the property requires a special product or machine, this is agreed in advance.
Are there any hidden home cleaning charges?
No. The price consists of €49.80 per person-hour and a €12.80 service fee per visit. Any separately ordered additional services are always agreed before the work begins.
